Most of the housing went up from the 1960s to the 1990s, so it is mainly brick and brick-veneer family homes, with large two-storey houses on the hillier blocks around Doncaster and Templestowe, acreage properties in Donvale, and apartments and townhouses growing around Box Hill and Ringwood. Brick and brick-veneer family homes from the 1960s to the 1990s, large two-storey rendered houses on sloping blocks, acreage and homestead-style properties, newer townhouses, and apartment buildings around Box Hill and Ringwood. Jetblack Painting helps homeowners, landlords, and commercial clients in Eastern Suburbs with detailed preparation, premium coatings, and clear project communication from quote through completion. ## Suburbs We Paint in Eastern Suburbs Each suburb below has its own page, with local housing notes, photos of our work where we have them, and answers to common questions. - [Painters Box Hill](/painter-box-hill/) - [Painters Doncaster](/painter-doncaster/) - [Painters Donvale](/painter-donvale/) - [Painters Templestowe](/painter-templestowe/) - [Painters Ringwood](/painter-ringwood/) - [Painters Croydon](/painter-croydon/) - [Painters Rowville](/painter-rowville/) - [Painters Wantirna South](/painter-wantirna-south/) ## Jetblack Painting in Eastern Suburbs: the facts - Jetblack Painting is based in Mordialloc VIC 3195, about 23 km from Eastern Suburbs in a straight line. - Owner-run by Jimmy Demirci, and every job is looked at on site before we quote. Those take the most sun and rain, so they get the most preparation: failing paint scraped back to a sound edge, bare timber primed, and gaps filled before the topcoats. Metalwork such as pergolas, garage doors and fences can change the look of a brick house without touching the brick, as the Wantirna South job on this page shows. ## Two-Storey Homes and Sloping Blocks The hillier streets of Doncaster, Templestowe and Donvale bring high walls, upper balconies and double-height entries. Access is set out in the quote for each elevation, and upper-storey work is planned so the house stays usable while it is done. Inside, high voids and stairwells are listed separately, because the wall above a stair often needs a platform rather than a ladder. ## What we paint in Eastern Suburbs ### Interior painting Walls, ceilings, trims and doors across Eastern Suburbs houses, apartments and townhouses. We have dedicated pages for Box Hill, Doncaster, Donvale, Templestowe, Ringwood, Croydon, Rowville and Wantirna South, listed on this page. Jetblack Painting is owner-run from Mordialloc, about 23 km south, and every job is looked at on site before we quote. The written quote usually follows within 24 to 48 hours. ### Do you paint large two-storey homes on sloping blocks? Yes. Much of Doncaster, Templestowe and Donvale is hilly, and two-storey homes there often have high rendered walls and upper balconies. The quote states the access method for each elevation, whether that is ladders, a platform or scaffold, so it is priced in rather than added later. ### Can you repaint an empty house before a sale or new tenants? Yes. The Rowville interior on this page was an empty house painted room by room in a two-tone scheme. An empty house can be worked through in sequence with no furniture to move, and the quote lists every room so you can see what is included. ### Do you paint pergolas, garage doors and driveways as well as the house? Yes. The Wantirna South job on this page took a metal pergola and a roller garage door from faded cream to black, and the Doncaster job included a concrete driveway coated in charcoal. Each surface gets its own preparation and primer, and the quote lists them separately. ### How do I get a quote? Call Jimmy on 0432 077 782, email jimmy@jetblackpainting.com or send the form on this page. Work is covered by $10M public liability insurance and a 5-year written workmanship guarantee. ## Recent work in Eastern Suburbs Three eastern suburbs jobs: an interior repaint through an empty Rowville house, a metal pergola and garage door in Wantirna South taken to black, and an upper-storey rendered wall and a charcoal-coated driveway in Doncaster.
